Newborn Photography Sessions

I offer several Newborn Session options to fit your family’s needs.

All newborn sessions take place in my home studio located in The Woodlands – Panther Creek area. Booking at least one month in advance is ideal to ensure availability and preparation, though last-minute sessions are welcome when possible.

What to Expect During Your Session

The baby truly runs the show! Feeding breaks and diaper changes are completely normal during newborn sessions.

For best results and a sleepier baby:

Try stimulating your baby before the session (a bath about one-two hours beforehand often helps)
Ideally, baby should be awake 1–2 hours before the session
A fresh feeding and diaper change right before the session helps baby fall into a deeper sleep
You are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early to feed and change your baby

Pacifiers are very helpful—even if your baby doesn’t typically use one, they can still help soothe during the session.

Please note:

Sessions begin at your scheduled appointment time
Due to scheduling, late arrivals still count toward session time, including feeding and diaper changes
Please plan to arrive early

Image Delivery & Prints

All digital images are professionally edited
Clients select their images (quantity depends on the session booked)
A print release is included with all digital images
Additional edited images or printed products may be purchased through your private online gallery (not mandatory)

Session Options & Pricing

30-Minute Wrap-Only Session – $200

Weekdays only
Wrap-only newborn session (no family photos)
Baby is photographed in wraps using bowls, baskets, hearts, and similar props
Choose 3 wrap colors
Includes 4 edited digital images
Approximate session time: 30 minutes

1-Hour Newborn Mini Session – $300 + tax

Weekdays only
Studio sessions only (no travel)
Includes wraps, headbands, hats, outfits, and props
Session includes:
- 2 props
- 2 outfits
- Bean bag setup
Baby Only session
Includes 10 edited digital images and print release
Ideal newborn age: 5–15 days old

Newborn Silver Session – $400 + tax

Photographer provides all props, wraps, and outfits
Session length: approximately 2–2.5 hours, depending on baby’s cooperation
Includes 15 edited digital images
Parents and siblings can join in this session during the final 30 minutes

Gold Newborn Session – $700 + tax

Photographer provides all props, wraps, and outfits
Session length: approximately 2–2.5 hours
Includes all edited digital images (approximately 30)
Parents and siblings can join in this session during final 30 minutes

Booking & Policies

A retainer paid in full and a signed contract are required to secure your session date
Retainers are non-refundable
Retainer must be paid before additional props, wraps, or outfits are purchased
