A Photographer Who Understands Birth

As a certified birth doula, I have witnessed over 75 births as a doula, photographer, or both.

Before relocating to Texas, I volunteered at Contra Costa Medical Center in Martinez, California — an experience that deepened my passion for birth work and documentary storytelling.

Birth is not just something I photograph.
It is something I deeply respect.

Whether you desire hands-on encouragement or a quiet, unobtrusive presence focused solely on documentation, I support you exactly as you need in that moment.

Birth photography may take place at:

• A local hospital
• A birth center
• The comfort of your own home

I arrive when you are approximately 6–7 cm dilated and remain for 1–2 hours after birth, documenting:

• Labor progression
• Emotional support and connection
• The moment of birth
• First cries and first breaths
• Golden hour bonding
• Those raw, once-in-a-lifetime memories

Every gallery is thoughtfully edited in both color (when lighting allows) and timeless black & white.
